1. Who We Are

About SEO Services is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at marketing@aboutseoservices.co.uk.

2. What We Collect

The only personal data we currently collect is what you choose to give us through our contact form:

• Name
• Email address
• Website URL (optional)
• The message you send us

We also automatically receive standard technical data common to any website, such as your IP address and browser type, via our hosting provider's server logs. We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

3. How We Use It, and Our Lawful Basis

We use the information you send us to respond to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to provide our Services to you. Our lawful basis for this is (a) our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries sent to us, and (b) taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We won't use your contact details for marketing emails without your separate consent.

4. Cookies

Our website doesn't currently set any non-essential cookies. If we add analytics or similar tools later, we'll update this policy and ask for consent where required.

5. Who We Share It With

We share contact form submissions with the third-party service that delivers them to our inbox:Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited). We don't sell your personal data, and we don't share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.

6. International Transfers

Some of the tools we use to run this website — for example, our hosting and form providers — may store or process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on their standard safeguards to keep your data protected to a UK standard.

7. How Long We Keep It

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the length of our working relationship plus a reasonable period afterwards for our records. We retain enquiry data for 12 months after your last contact with us, after which it is securely deleted, unless we're required to keep it longer for legal, accounting, or tax purposes.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data
• Restrict or object to our processing
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is our basis for processing

9. Children's Privacy

Our website and Services are intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.
